Gray Design Group Completes Interiors for Renaissance Financial
ST. LOUIS – Renaissance Financial’s new office evokes the cultural movement that inspired its name, with major Renaissance-style art, Italian lighting and rich materials throughout the two-story, 35,000-square-foot space within the Highlands Plaza Two Building.
‘Once you enter the top floor of the two-story space, you immediately sense the aura of the European Renaissance from centuries ago, which strongly reinforces Renaissance Financial’s brand identity,’ said Wendy Gray, principal of Gray Design Group. ‘This feeling is conveyed throughout the space, in everything from the accent lighting to the overstuffed leather chairs and grand, two-story steel and glass staircase.’
Renaissance Financial customers are greeted by a 15-foot diameter stone logo and oversized Sandro Botticelli wall mural in the lobby, which branches off to two art galleries featuring various local artists, including several of James Smith’s original works. Each of the 15 conference rooms contains granite tables and comfortable overstuffed seating. Employees and clients alike can enjoy a large break room featuring floor-to-ceiling angled glass and a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with showers. The 500-square-foot president’s office is lined with angled glass floor to ceiling. The open-light filled space provides the perfect entertainment setting for the company’s legendary holiday parties that attract more than 1,000 guests annually.
