Congratulations to CTS Group and Eagleview Elementary School, the facility has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR certification, which signifies that the building performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA!

Don McAtee Takes First Place

This past Sunday, The Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri held its 51^st annual Concours d’Elegance in Forest Park AND our very own Don McAtee was awarded first place for his stunning 1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass in the 1963-1967 Historic Auto class. Don spent 17 years meticulously restoring this show stopper and has won numerous first place awards in car shows throughout
St. Louis. Congratulations Don!

ST. LOUIS – Ronald McDonald has expanded its horizons ‘westward’ to the West County campus of Mercy Hospital
St. Louis. The 300th house in the world has been awarded the Best Projects Award of Merit by ENR Midwest in September of 2011.

Diversity.com, a nationwide organization that promotes vendor diversity in the private sector, has awarded Gray Design Group with its third award since participating in this valuable program. This year, over 750,000 privately-held companies in the United States had the opportunity to participate. Winners were chosen on the basis of annual gross revenue, participation in stimulating economic growth and their business profile.

This unique facility incorporates high technology printing and state-of-the-art offices within a distinctive 100,000 square foot concrete and glass building. The German based company provides saturated and laminated grade decor paper products for the laminate industry. The building will also house three levels of office and support areas to provide showroom areas, employee locker rooms and staff dining areas. Green space and water features have been developed within the site to provide of an elegant landscaped setting with corporate appeal. Currently under construction with completion set for early 2011.

Gray Design’s Lorrie Kramer wins Best CFO Award

Lorrie Kramer, CFO of Gray Design Group for almost 30 years, won the Saint Louis Business Journal’s Best CFO Award in the Small Private Company Category, 2010.

All of us at Gray Design Group are thrilled with this award, as we watch Lorrie tackling the responsibilities of not just a CFO, but a COO and CTO as well. Lorrie has tirelessly and selflessly dedicated herself to keeping an unwavering eye on the many issues necessary to run any company – much less a highly creative one – so well.
