Marketing Manager

Gray Design Group is looking to hire a Marketing Manager who will be working closely with our Principals, Directors and Project Managers to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for our services. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating marketing materials such as white papers, brochure materials and case studies. You will be giving presentations about our ongoing marketing efforts and provide administrative support to our business development teams.

To be chosen for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Prior work experience in administration, sales, or marketing is a plus. Effective writing and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role. Graphic design and copywriting skills will be helpful but not required. Previous knowledge or experience working in the Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Engineering or Real Estate Industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the business development staff, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy
  • Produces and delivers proposals, RFP/RFQ responses and presentations
  • Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
  • Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing
  • Manages and prepares press releases
  • Working closely with the business development team and attend scheduled marketing meetings
  • Creating marketing materials such as white papers, case studies, and presentations
  • Giving presentations
  • Assists in writing and placement of articles for publication
  • Maintaining a marketing database
  • Coordination of Project Photoshoots
  • Providing administrative support to the marketing and business development team
  • Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents
  • Understanding company product and brand
  • Creating and interpreting a variety of reports and organizing market research
  • Updating social media accounts
  • Manage company apparel and gift programs
  • Coordinate trade show events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Administration or sales and marketing experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Experience with InDesign and Photoshop and ability to edit and customize marketing brochures for specific RFPs
  • Good organization skills
  • A background in strategic marketing, positioning and brand development is a plus
  • Digital marketing experience
