Project Spotlight: Melton Machine & Control Company

The distinctive building design of Melton’s new headquarters features façade articulation through its tilt-up panels with brick veneer, Nichiha panel accents and a high impact entry. The 74,000 square foot office area includes a 200-person training room, a large two-story lobby with monumental stair and an employee café with outdoor seating. Contemporary interiors include clean lines with selective exposed structures to neutralize the space, with carefully planned pops of branded, bold color to create visual interest.

Industrial accents throughout are reflected in artwork and architectural details. Black and white tones create an aesthetically pleasing contrast, while warmer textiles add comfort and relaxation. Simple forms, distinctive colors, and varied furniture heights complete the contemporary design in collaborative and commons spaces throughout the office.
