St. Boniface welcomes new elevator in school building

St. Boniface Parish is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, and Thursday morning marked another connection between its past and its future.
On Thursday, a crane lifted a three-story prefabricated elevator through a hole in the roof and into the main school building at St. Boniface Catholic School at 128 N. Buchanan St.
The elevator is being installed to make the building, built in 1912, compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
