Overview
A National Communications Company asked Gray to create a welcoming office environment for employees transitioning from remote work. Gray’s interior and graphic design collaboration created a tranquil workspace inspired by nature.
Design + Fabrication
To create a serene atmosphere, Gray designed a combination of wall graphics, three-dimensional wood and moss features and gradient-printed films on glass fronts. Extensive retouching to the photography helped convey a calming energy within a high-impact environment while maintaining the brand color palette.
Content + Messaging
The messaging aimed to evoke peace and comfort, supporting employees’ return to the office environment, so the design incorporated natural-themed imagery, such as water ripples and dandelion flowers, converted to illustrations and applied throughout the space.
Biophilic Design
The use of wood and moss features, along with natural-themed imagery, reflects biophilic design principles. This combination creates a connection to nature within the workplace, enhancing well-being and productivity.
Dimensional Design
Three-dimensional elements added depth and texture to the space, creating a multi-dimensional environment that enhances the visual interest and immersive experience for employees.
Unifying Interior Design
The graphics seamlessly integrated wood elements and color schemes throughout the interiors and graphics, creating cohesion and warmth that complemented the furnishings and fixtures.
