Overview

After outgrowing its current location in an established business district with a desire to stay in an up-and-coming area, this full-service investment firm sought a new space to reflect its young, relaxed and innovative team. The objective was to relocate to a prime real estate market in a walkable business district that would attract talent from the region with amenities that appeal to the younger generation.

Industrial Aesthetic in an Urban Environment

ButcherJoseph + Co. desired a lot of natural light in the space while requiring enclosed offices along the windows. Installing full glass front office walls and doors allowed light to infiltrate the entire area, offering unrestricted views of the city’s trademark skyline and live sporting events. Gray integrated LED lighting pendants and brand-new polished concrete floor with the soft carpeting in workspaces balanced the technology-forward aesthetic to create a welcoming environment. The outdoor patio offers clients and employees VIP views of live sporting events, creating an exciting, unparalleled workplace environment.

Employee-Focused Spaces

Gray designed the function-first workspace design features task-based furnishings to meet each employee’s needs. Sit-to-stand desks, customized storage, adjustable monitors and collaboration spaces encourage movement and foster co-working relationships. Integrating the client’s existing ping pong table was essential to create a communal area that encouraged social events and supported their employee-focused culture.

Shared Spaces

The large, tech-savvy conference room opens into an inviting café space designed for entertaining guests. A wood-toned design detail was added to the conference room glass to offer privacy during meetings.
