Overview
Compana’s new headquarters brought their team back together after working in two separate buildings. Gray’s design goal was to create a workplace that feels connected, easy to navigate and reflective of who they are as a company. Following a recent rebrand, the space became an opportunity to carry their identity into the built environment in a thoughtful and cohesive way.

Content + Story
Content was drawn from existing brand and marketing materials, then refined to feel clear and relevant within the workplace. The imagery reflects the full range of the pet care market, helping connect the space to Compana’s work.


Graphic Expression
Rather than layering graphics onto finished walls, the brand was used as a framework for the design. Graphics unfold gradually as you move through the space, creating a sequence of moments rather than a single application. Larger feature walls introduce bold imagery and simple messaging, while more detailed elements sit at eye level and invite a closer look. Dimensional lettering adds depth and shadow, bringing key words forward and creating variation across surfaces.

Form + Space
Glass and graphics were used together to shape space without closing it off. Sightlines remain open while each area still has a sense of definition. Curved forms were carried into the interior, creating movement along corridors and tying elements together.
Color + Type
Their green palette is used with intention, guiding people through the office and highlighting key moments. Typography and iconography are scaled to be easily read at a distance, supporting wayfinding and reinforcing the brand without overwhelming the space.


Summary
The new headquarters brings Compana’s people and brand together in a way that feels clear and approachable. By developing the interiors, signage and graphics as one system, the space maintains a consistent language from one area to the next, supporting daily work while reflecting who they are as a company in a natural way.
