Community + Destination Focused
With 54 Fairfield Inn guestrooms and 48 TownePlace Suites guestrooms, the project provides flexible accommodation for business travelers, casino visitors, racing enthusiasts and long-term guests while creating a welcoming destination along the US 81 and Highway 30 corridor. Connected directly to Harrah’s Columbus Racing + Casino, the hotel provides convenient access between entertainment, lodging and amenities, creating a destination that enhances the overall visitor experience. The building’s layout prioritizes guest comfort, ease of navigation and long-term flexibility while supporting the operational requirements of a dual-branded hotel.

Architectural Approach
The architectural design focused on creating a cohesive hospitality destination that integrates two Marriott brands within a single facility while maintaining operational efficiency and consistent guest experience. Careful planning of circulation, public spaces and back-of-house functions supports the unique needs of both transient and extended-stay travelers.

Interiors Rooted in Nature
Drawing inspiration from Marriott’s Real Living Interior Design Specification, the interior design reflects the character of Columbus through a warm, natural palette, layered materials and timeless detailing. The design balances the familiarity of national hospitality brands with elements that celebrate the local community’s history, culture and sense of place. Natural textures, clean lines and thoughtfully curated finishes create welcoming environments throughout the lobby, gathering spaces and guestrooms.

Creating the Guest Experience
Every aspect of the hotel was designed to support comfort, convenience and well-being. Public spaces encourage gathering, relaxation and productivity, while guestrooms provide functional, thoughtfully designed accommodations tailored to each brand’s guest profile.
