Overview
Beyond Housing, a locally-based community outreach program that provides facilities and assistance for redevelopment in the Saint Louis Area, redeveloped a former city school property for its headquarters to consolidate staff and centralize expanding offices.
Revitalizing a Historic School
The original facility was a 60-year-old, three-story masonry city school and gymnasium with an attached pre-engineered metal building housing expanded classrooms. A new façade was developed for the metal building, transforming it into the main entry and community support offices.

Supporting Diverse Functions
The school building houses training rooms, a cafeteria and accounting and administrative offices, with a repurposed gym that provides ample multipurpose space for group activities and events.
