Overview
Gray’s design of the new Elite Tool headquarters provided an opportunity to create a graphics program that reflects the precision of their work and the pride they take in it. While the value of graphics was not immediately clear at the start, the final result shows how a thoughtful approach can shape the workplace experience. The approach focused on creating strong visual impact while working within a defined budget.

A Strategic Approach
The graphics were designed to reflect Elite Tool’s people, products, and process while adding energy to the workplace. Rather than applying graphics across every surface, the design focuses on key moments where they have the most impact. Existing conditions were used wherever possible, with some walls left in place and enhanced with dimensional elements instead of being fully refinished. This approach allowed the design to go further without adding unnecessary cost.
Cost Control
All imagery throughout the facility features Elite Tool’s own people, products and machinery. This creates a direct connection between the environment and the work happening within it, while also avoiding the need to pay for outside media.

“
When I first saw the quotes for the graphics and branding, I was a bit shell-shocked. I remember thinking how can some pictures and wall murals cost that much? Not only did your team hit a home run, but you completely knocked it out of the park. The result far exceeded any expectations or visions I had. I honestly couldn’t be happier.”

Bringing the Work into the Space
The graphics highlight the craft behind the work and give the team a sense of ownership in the space represented their day to day. By pairing with paint and photography, we reduced material and installation costs while maintaining a cohesive look.

Material + Detail
A mix of dimensional elements and layered applications adds depth and variation throughout the space. In key areas, graphics align closely with the original design intent, resulting in a finished product that reflects the early vision with clarity.

Elite Tool also contributed materials from their own operations, including metal elements used within the graphics. This added authenticity while supporting the overall budget strategy.
