Project Overview:
As the largest Anheuser-Busch wholesaler in Missouri and one of the largest in the Midwest, Grey Eagle Distributors’ significant growth resulted in the need for expanded space. Gray Design Group designed the new landmark headquarters that doubled the size of Grey Eagle’s former operation. The project includes a 200,000-square-foot refrigerated warehouse, a 10,000-square-foot draft cooler, a 34,000-square-foot Class A two-story office building, hospitality areas and an 11,000-square-foot maintenance building. The hospitality room holds over 200 people and connects directly to a large outdoor patio with a fully equipped custom bar, built-in grill and food prep area, firepit and lounge seating. Gray’s Branding + Graphics team also designed the environmental graphics to enhance the aesthetics of the interiors. From the room signage to the three-dimensional brushed aluminum logo in the conference room to the café wall coverings featuring products to the inspirational quotes in the lounge, all the graphics accentuated the interior fixtures, colors and patterns. The overall material color scheme was minimalistic and neutral to complement the varying wall textures and coverings and fit with the aesthetics of the space.
