Overview
Fireside Financial selected Gray for the architectural, interior, branding, messaging and website design of their 97-acre site in Creve Coeur. This development, known as Olia Village, is envisioned as the premier lifestyle community in the Saint Louis metropolitan area. The design is inspired by the site’s prime location along Olive Boulevard, its rich history, natural surroundings and top-tier amenities.


Approach + Strategy
Gray’s branding approach began with in-depth research into the site’s history, the client’s goals and a comparative analysis of similar developments in the area. This research provided the foundation for creating a strong positioning statement and naming platform, leading to the selection of the name ‘Olia Village.’
Brand Origins
The name ‘Olia Village‘ has dual origins: ‘Olea,‘ the genus of olive trees, symbolizes grace and strength, while ‘Olia modernizes Olga Monsanto, wife of Monsanto founder John Queeny. ‘Olia‘ translates to ‘blessed, holy, olive tree,‘ honoring the area’s heritage. ‘Village‘ conveys a welcoming, communal atmosphere, promoting accessible living for residents and visitors.




Brand Elements
The logo integrates the letters O and V, subtly forming a three-dimensional olive, reflecting the community’s prime location along the corridor connecting East and West. The clean lines and playful design of the “A” in the text embody Olia Village’s balance as a high-end urban community within a beautiful natural landscape, offering serenity and excitement.
