Selbert’s on 4th engaged Gray Design Group’s expertise in architecture, interior, branding and graphic design to create a unified brand for their new American cuisine restaurant. Transforming an old church into a restaurant on a site with high visibility from I-44 prompted a design concept where the brand influences the architecture and interiors to provide a cohesive customer experience on every level. The Branding + Graphic Design (B+G) Studio tailored the logo design to accommodate both large-scale signage and smaller promotional items, crafting a rustic, hand-drawn logo that suits the restaurant’s cuisine and atmosphere. The logo, featuring a steer creatively formed from reversed “S” shapes in “Selbert’s,” simple star details and an earthy color palette matching the building’s facade, projects a modern yet traditional Americana ranch aesthetic, creating a welcoming ambiance that resonates with the restaurant’s clientele.
