Project Overview:
After completing work at The Crossing’s other locations, the client asked Gray Design Group to come back where it all began to design a major expansion and renovation of their main Chesterfield Valley campus. A new 1,200-seat auditorium replaced the current 800-seat venue, repurposed as The Hub, an edgy hip room for a younger audience. Two new high-volume lobbies flank the indoor and outdoor gathering venues fondly known as The Corner. This high-energy space features a full-service cafe, a bookstore with a gift shop, and a performance courtyard with a covered stage and a two-story pavilion. Additionally, by creating enhanced office space, studios, conference rooms, green rooms and collaboration areas, The Crossing can serve and inspire their rapidly growing congregation.
