World Wide Technology’s new tech center was constructed with tilt-up concrete panels and interior steel columns supporting a steel joist and girder roof system with a clear height of 36’. In addition to production, the building houses 80,000 square feet of office area and a 50,000 square-foot lab. The office interiors were designed to foster collaboration and innovation. Maximizing natural light was a top priority and was achieved by limiting enclosed rooms with the ability to construct rooms in the interior of the space with demountable glass fronts as needed. The open office plan features low-height workstations with sit-to-stand surfaces and numerous collaboration spaces – both open and enclosed. The latest technology is seamlessly integrated throughout each space allowing staff the freedom to work anywhere. Varying ceiling heights, bold colors and graphics visually complete this engaging environment.
