Project Overview:
Duke Realty selected Gray Design Group to design Elsevier’s new 150,000 square foot St. Louis office operations in the Riverport Business Park. The three-story tilt-up concrete structure features a brick, metal panel, painted concrete and clear glass curtain wall exterior. The flow-through lobby features dramatic dual stainless steel elliptical canopies anchoring double entries leading to outdoor dining and entertaining plazas. Visitors are immediately greeted indoors by a three-story granite and glass water feature surrounded by a monumental staircase with a stainless steel cable handrail system. Unique curved acrylic light canopies were created to reflect the flooring design elements. This ‘fast track’ project was completed in under 12 months and is LEED Silver Certified.
