Project Overview:
The Fountains selected Gray Design Group to design a 95,000-square-foot independent living addition to their existing four-story facility. The expansion added 69 upscale residential apartments to total 200 independent living units and 50 assisted living and memory care apartments. The addition added a new dining room, library, fitness center, activity rooms and lounge with easy access to the existing landscaped courtyard. The project scope also included renovating the existing amenity spaces. This includes the indoor pool and spa, full-service restaurant, movie theater, social center, beauty and barber shop, Courtyard Café and Kaldi’s coffee bar. The addition seamlessly connected the warm, natural exterior materials such as brick, stone and siding on the exteriors.
